Sales & Stylist Role 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking stylist with proven sales experience to join our team.

This role is from Wednesday to Monday 10-6pm (with additional days to cover annual/sick leave, along with special events such as our Warehouse Sale)

Position Description:

  1. Showroom Sales & Stylist

 We are seeking a highly motivated person who is passionate about furniture and interiors and providing customers with an excellent experience. If you possess the ability to organize and priorities tasks, have excellent communication skills and expertise in high-end residential and commercial interior décor and styling, coupled with proven sales experience, then we’d love to hear from you. Rhinoland is a well-established family-owned business in the Kathmandu valley, Nepal that specializes in quality custom made timber furniture and joinery. Essential Skills:

• Plan and style spaces/products for photoshoots for print and digital media

• Create new and inspiring living spaces within the showroom on a weekly basis

• Maintain neat presentation of the showroom

• Provide interior styling advice to clients in-store In Store Sales Duties

• Provide excellent customer service

• Present, promote and sell products/services (furniture, custom joinery, interior décor, osmo) using proven sales strategies to existing and prospective customers

• Open/close store

• Create and update customer records and databases

• Process, package and book online orders

• Manage returns / store credits

• Contribute to social media content

• Monitor and respond to all customer enquiries in a timely manner - social media, email, phone calls etc

• Follow-up potential sales

• Provide after sales follow-ups

• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction

• Promote discounts, competitions, social media tags, google reviews etc to customers

• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

• Provide support to the Custom Furniture Team where necessary (customer enquiries, confirming installs, dispatch, photos of completed pieces, collections etc)

• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or management

  1. Interior Designer

We are seeking a passionate, creative and qualified Interior Designer to join our team who possess the ability to elevate our brand in a competitive industry. If you have an amazing ability to organise and prioritise tasks, excellent communication skills and expertise in high-end residential and commercial interior design, coupled with relevant sales experience, then we’d love to hear from you.

Rhinoland Furniture is a well-established family-owned business in the Kathmandu valley, Nepal that specialises in quality custom made timber furniture and joinery. We offer a challenging, fun and supportive working environment that values quality, creativity, initiative and teamwork. This unique opportunity is a relatively new key role within Rhinoland and is suited to a highly skilled Interior Design professional with a proven ability to establish new systems and contribute to the successful growth of our brand. From styling inspiring spaces within our showroom to designing client’s kitchens and full home packages, this new and exciting role offers diversity and creative freedom along with all that Rhinoland has to offer.

Hours: Full-time. 6 days per week 

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years’ experience in Interior Styling/Design and Sales

• Tertiary qualification in Interior Styling/Interior Design or equivalent

• Proficient in3D CAD and 2D technical drawings of interior floor plans and furniture/joinery/cabinetry (i.e. vray, Sketchup, revit etc)

• Ability to multitask, prioritise projects and meet deadlines

• Establish Interior Design packages, policies and processes

• Liaise with customers on high-end interior design concepts including kitchens and full house packages

• Source & specify furniture, products, fabrics and finishes to suits a client’s aesthetic, budget and floor plans

• Create 3D and 2D technical drawings of interior floor plans and cabinetry/joinery

• Create client presentations and marketing materials

• Project management of projects from initial design conceptualisation to final project details, install etc

• Plan and style spaces/products for photoshoots for print and digital media

• Provide interior styling advice to clients in-store

• Present, promote and sell products/services (furniture, custom joinery, interior décor, osmo) using proven sales strategies to existing and prospective customers

• Create and update customer records and databases (lightspeed, email lists)

• Provide excellent customer service

• Process, package and book client orders

• Manage returns / store credits

• Contribute to social media content

• Monitor and respond to all customer enquiries in a timely manner - social media, email, phone calls etc

• Follow-up potential sales

• Provide after sales follow-ups

• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
