Our Story Rhinoland Furniture was founded by Bijay Yadav, Executive Director of Rhinoland Multipurpose Pvt. Ltd. Before starting Rhinoland in Nepal, Bijay gained hands-on experience in the furniture industry in Sydney, Australia, where he worked with Westend Office Furniture and Furniture Plus as a field manager. That experience helped him understand both office and home furniture closely — from design and production to installation, customer service, and after-sales support. After years of planning and preparation, he returned with a vision to build a furniture company in Nepal that could combine international exposure with local craftsmanship and the needs of the Nepali market. Rhinoland began its journey online in 2019. Today, with a showroom in Bishalnagar and an active workshop team, we are proud to serve households, corporates, hotels, restaurants, schools, institutions, retailers, suppliers, and design-conscious customers across Kathmandu and beyond. Hello and warm greetings, I am Bijay Yadav, Founder and Managing Director of Rhinoland Furniture. It is my pleasure to welcome you to Rhinoland — a place built with passion, patience, and a deep belief that every home and workspace deserves furniture that is beautiful, practical, and made to last. The idea of Rhinoland began during my time in Sydney, Australia, where I worked closely with the furniture industry and gained valuable hands-on experience in both home and office furniture. That experience helped me understand not only the importance of good design and quality materials, but also the value of reliable service, proper finishing, and customer satisfaction. When the Covid-19 pandemic changed the way we lived and worked, I saw many people searching for comfortable, customized, and dependable furniture for their homes, offices, and businesses. That moment inspired me to turn my long-held dream into reality. Rhinoland started with simple experiments — study tables, dining sets, and custom furniture pieces — but every project taught us something new and brought us closer to our customers’ real needs. Alongside my responsibility as Managing Director of Alakapuri School, now wonderfully overseen by my wife Nabita, I began building Rhinoland with determination and care. The journey was not always easy, but the encouragement, feedback, and trust of our customers gave us the confidence to keep improving. Today, Rhinoland Furniture has grown into a trusted name for custom-made furniture in Nepal, serving homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, institutions, and commercial spaces. At our workshop in the Pepsicola area of Kathmandu, we manage different stages of production, including woodwork, metal work, welding, upholstery, polishing, and finishing.
